Born in St Ives, Cornwall 1991, Alice Freeman moved to London to do a Foundation in Fine Art at Byam Shaw School of Art in 2008. She went on to complete a Drawing and Fine Art Degree at Camberwell College of Art, University of the Arts London in 2013.

Shortly after graduating she received a scholarship to study and work on the 'Above and Below Ground Project' in Siena, Italy.
